The next ODSP and Ontario Works payment date is Friday, October 30, 2026, followed by Monday, November 30, 2026, according to ontario.ca. Ontario Works calls the October 30 deposit your November benefit, while ODSP calls the same deposit your October payment.
Ontario hasn’t published its 2027 dates yet; we’ll add them when it does. ODSP’s December 2026 date is also still listed as “TBC”.
ODSP and Ontario Works payment dates for the rest of 2026
Two payment dates are confirmed for the rest of 2026: Friday, October 30 and Monday, November 30. Both programs pay on those days. What differs is the benefit month each program attaches to the date. ODSP’s December date is still TBC, and Ontario Works has not posted a date for its January 2027 benefit.

Why ODSP and Ontario Works name the same date differently
Ontario Works pays on “the last business day of the previous month”, so a deposit at the end of October is your November benefit. ODSP pays on “the last business day of each month”, and its table names each payment after the month it lands in. The money arrives on the same day either way.
Past dates on the ontario.ca pages show the pattern. ODSP’s January 2026 payment went out January 30, 2026, at the end of January itself. Ontario Works paid its January 2026 benefit on December 31, 2025, at the end of the month before.
This matters most when you plan rent. Either way, the deposit at the end of one month is what you live on for the next few weeks.
Holiday notes for Ontario payment dates
Both programs pay on a business day, so a payment moves earlier when the last day of the month is a holiday. Ontario Works paid its October 2026 benefit on Tuesday, September 29. It skipped September 30, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and a Payments Canada closure day. ODSP adds that “December payments may be available earlier in the month.”
- October 30 and November 30, 2026 are ordinary business days, so neither date moves.
- December: ODSP’s December 2025 payment went out on Monday, December 22, 2025. The December 2026 date is still TBC.
- Bank closures: Payments Canada closes on Wednesday, November 11, Friday, December 25 and Monday, December 28, 2026. Banks do no clearing from December 25 to December 28.
- Remembrance Day is not a public holiday under Ontario’s Employment Standards Act guide, but banks are still closed for clearing on November 11.

What to do if your ODSP or Ontario Works payment is late
Check MyBenefits first, at ontario.ca/MyBenefits, for your payment details. If the money still isn’t there, contact your local ODSP or Ontario Works office. The ontario.ca ODSP and Ontario Works pages don’t set out a process for missing payments, so start with your caseworker and local office.

You can find your office with the office locator. The Social Assistance Support Line runs Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET. Ontario presents it mainly for applications and status questions, so the local office is the better first call for a missing payment.
Waiting on the Ontario Trillium Benefit instead? The CRA pays it on Tuesday, November 10 and Thursday, December 10, 2026. It asks you to wait 10 working days before calling.
Short before payment day?
Start with the options that cost nothing. Ask your landlord or the biller for a few days, then ask your caseworker what emergency help is available. A no-fee bank overdraft comes next. Borrowing should come last, because any loan costs money and has to be repaid from your next payment.

When is ODSP paid in November 2026?
ODSP’s November 2026 payment is on Monday, November 30, 2026, the last business day of the month. The payment before it is Friday, October 30, 2026, which ODSP labels as October. Ontario Works pays on the same two days but calls them the November and December benefits, so check which label your letters use.
